Product Description

The ADDERLink X2-Silver, (part of the ADDERLink X Series range), extends very high quality video, keyboard, mouse and transparent, high speed RS232 up to 200m (650ft) over Category 5 or higher UTP cable. The ADDERLink X2-Silver has been designed to provide industry-leading video clarity, compatibility and high rack densities.

Dual access versions provide local KVM access at the computer for local as well as remote control. 

Key Features

  • Industry leading resolutions of 1600x1200 are achievable at 200m (650ft).
  • The ADDERLink X2 applies a high level of signal compensation that allows for a greatly increased range of very smooth and fine adjustments.
  • Unless an extender actively supports DDC some well-known high performance video cards cannot be used at high resolutions. The ADDERLink X2 fully supports DDC.
  • Both transmitter and receiver units can be used stand-alone or up to 16 units can be mounted into a 2U chassis.
  • The ADDERLink X2-Silver has integrated skew correction with a 300MHz bandwidth, meaning that it is more than powerful enough to counteract the negative effects of the skew.
  • Video resolutions 1600x1200 at distances up to 200m (650ft)
  • Extension distance Up to 200 metres/650ft using CATx cable (x=5,5e,6,7)
  • Devices supported Supports PS/2 style keyboard, PS/2 style mouse, flat-screen and CRT style monitors with standard HD-15 video connectors. Transparent RS232 connection.
  • O/S compatibility All known software and operating systems including Windows (all), DOS, Linux, Unix, BSD, Sun OS, Solaris, Mac OS, NetWare etc.
  • Connectors (Local computer-end unit) Computer connection: 1 x 25-way female connector (cable supplied)
  • Physical (Tx and Rx units) 172mm x 26mm x 75mm, 430g, fits into one slot width in the X-Series rack mount chassis (16 units fit into 2U of rack space)
