Product Description
The Xtensys Compact Switch series is similar in operation and management to the Xtensys enterprise switch, however, it's a single user solution and only available in 2, 4 and 8-port models. This is the ideal CATx switch for quick deployment when managing either a small cluster or a widely separated number of PC's/Servers. Connection between the PC and the switch uses CATx cable up to 1,000feet (300m) on each link. Video resolution is up to 1920x1200, VGA video. Each Xtensys Compact switch model comes with either a PS2 user interface, or else PS2 + USB.
Each connected PC requires a plug-in computer interface dongle, either VGA+PS2 or VGA+USB. Direct connect these interface powered dongles to the Xtensys Compact switch using CATx cable.
